Dream Cures: Understanding And Conversing With The Subconscious

Dream Healing is one of the few areas of dream science that has not been verified as fact by scientists, however it is also one of the most widely believed to be true by normal people.

Another concept that is rather controversial in terms of science, is the practical application of the subconscious mind, people try and explain it all the time, and eventually come to realise that it is an entity so complex, that the ten percent of our brains that we have at our disposal - simply does not have the power to understand it.

So what do we know about our subconscious? For one thing we know that it is incredibly influential on our every day lives. It subtly morphs our moods, actions and outlook on everything, to the extent that it perhaps defines our personalities, in this case is our conscious mind simply a mask that covers up the true image of a person? Other things that we know about the subconscious is that it has a much stronger influence on us within dreams, while lucid dreaming we retain a small part of our conscious mind in order to function semi-regularly, and the rest of the experience is controlled by the other side of thought, if this part of our mind can create worlds inside our head, it is questionable what sort of application it would have if it were to be available to us in consciousness.

When healing is the issue we can use the subconscious to identify a certain problem with our mentality, once identified a problem is much easier to solve and we can take steps both in a dream and in reality to solve it. Depending on the nature of the mental problem it can sometimes be a troubling experience trying to solve it yourself; we recommend that you first ask the advice of a doctor, and also to ask a friend to support you through any mood swings or other such troubles you may experience.

Where physical healing is involved, the subconscious is much harder to put to use, in theory it is quite possible to perform tasks such as speed up healing, but it is an area that only adapt lucid dreamers tend to use, for this reason we do not recommend trying this, as it could have un desirable effects upon your body, however if you are still adamant about learning this technique, then practice for a few years, and you might just succeed.

In terms of risks, Dream Healing can be a little hazardous if approached at the wrong angle, just remember that it can be a gradual change, do not pressure yourself to make a huge impact on your mentality, do not expect to wake up a different person, as long as you keep these things in mind you are sure to have a very positive experience that will be of great benefit to you as long as you choose to use it.
